Making new friends. 

   My new friend would be that cute dog, stepping out of the house that seemed uninhabited till that very moment. I have to say he was very discreet, he calmly came out of the yard, just in time to be caught on the camera and offer this photoshoot a really happy coincidence!

   I think my outfit couldn't have blended better with the environment, all the pink laying around. Gingham is a favorite of mine. Apparently, Starbucks is too. I' ve had my eyes on this all-pink thermos for all summer last year, and I finally got it! I believe it would be the third addition to my Starbucks thermos... So, it had to be photographed. Something so pretty should always be photographed, don't you think?

Welcome Spring.

   The first day of Spring is here! I am finally welcoming my favorite season in a profoundly flowery way! How could anyone not love this time of the year, when flowers bloom, the day becomes longer and the sun is shining along with that refreshing breeze? I can't. Don't forget that “you can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep Spring from coming.” - Pablo Neruda :)

Shiny Happy People.

   Little hearts, flowers and birds. 

   I thought this was one of the "happiest" posts of Red Rose Cheeks. Maybe it was the warm touch of the sun coming down at that moment, or the beautiful greenery around the park. The most amazing thing, though, is that my... "official" photographer was also left with a positive feeling after the photoshoot, and that is amazing because, well, most of the times we end up arguing about the result of the photos...!  But I have to admit that he has really improved and he now manages to avoid the stuff that don't look so good photographically almost every time.

  This sweater is one of my favorites. It reminds me one I had during my childhood, which had three little heart-shaped buttons on the top of one sleeve. It was adorable! Maybe I will look for a photo that I am wearing it and share it with you ;) I often find myself thinking that some clothes I wore as a child were so nice that I would totally wear them now. Do you? I particularly think about a one-piece suimsuit I had which had a fruit print and was so pretty! I love such details in an outfit.

A cat and a girl.

   Holiday dressing.

   It's marvellous what whimsy a cat can add to a photo. It's weird. It's even weirder if you think that I am not very fond of cats. Definitely not a cat person. Still, I have to admit they have a magical effect on photography. Is it their glowy eyes or their unruffled nonchalance? Who knows. But they make a great model for me to photograph. 

   Of course, it was also the beautiful spot we found for the photoshoot. Or was it the clothes too?

  Oh, how I've missed wearing my beloved mary-janes! Here, I present to you an outfit that you can wear during the holiday season, which is approaching soon (yeiii). If you wish for something different from the classic "little black dress" or any dress for that matter, you can definitely go for some pretty pants instead. Lace, brocade, patterns...just something that can be festive! Add a statement necklace and your favorite pair of heels and voilà! You have yourself a unique ensemble.
