   Let's talk style. It's early December already and this mild weather consents to bare legs instead of the nude tights that I shamelessly loathe. Don't get me wrong- I love opaque tights, tights with hearts, polka dots and flowers, but nude? No thanks! I think nude tights go to that "forbidden-clothing chest" of mine, along with cowboy boots, military camouflage print and transparent plastic bra straps. Well, everybody has their do's and dont's and I just layed out a bunch of them... It's kind of refreshing really! 

   What kind of clothing do you hate? Come on, speak up!

 Brogues, a velvet bag and a necklace.

   I am aware of the lack of originallity for the title, but I really couldn't find one that suited the way I am feeling about this collaboration better! When Irini, the girl behind 'Sweetcase' proposed that we did something of a project with some of her favorite pieces from her a/w collection, 'Chocolat', I jumped with joy! I have always admired her unique work. In fact, I loved the photoshoots for the 'Travelling Sweetcase' project so much that I secretly wanted to be one of those girls travelling with the Sweetcase. Well, my wish kinda came true now :) And, to be honest, I am glad that we did a more wintery project because the new collection is amazing- warm colors inspired by the famous (and... mouth watering) movie and that vintage air that Irini is known for. 

  Although it was raining and it was cold, it was a fun photoshoot. A big 'thank you' to the one and only person always photographing me with patience (even in the rain!) and  Irini, who gave me the motivation to do so!

Winter Calling.

  Pink leaves. 

   I think I won't exaggerate telling you that this has been my 'uniform' for the past month or so, my go-to outfit style for autumn. A crop top (have worn it all summer and now, on a long sleeve version) and a black skirt that has been one of my best buys ever. It has an amazing fitting and just the ideal length- not too short (so that I can't feel free to move) but not too long either. It can be worn day or night with the right styling. I am a sucker for unique and original pieces, maybe with an unusual print, but as I grow older (and , ehm, wiser) I tend to look out for classic, versatile pieces,and believe me, these are the ones I prove to wear more often. 

   This photoshoot and the ones that will follow will indicate that bare legs were kind of 'my thing' at this time of the year. Well, at least until last week, when the weather chilled notably and bare legs with just a short pair of socks are no longer an option! If you think that we also snapped these photos very quickly, just before it went dark, then you have it: winter is coming.

Shorts ans Socks.

  A bit Chloé. 

   Once I saw these leather-like shorts and the frilly white top, a certain Chloé look popped in my head and I just knew they would make a nice match together. Romantic and edgy at the same time? Done. 

    Cute ankle socks paired with heels tend to be one of my favorite habits lately. I want to enjoy this trend as much as possible, before I take the socks off and enjoy the summer in bare feet! Summer is almost here, yeiii!

My heart belongs to...40's.

   Although I recognise I am a 50's type of girl, sometimes I find myself so allured by the 40's, the era of the femme fatales, the pencil skirts, the mary janes with the socks...a dark but oh so dazzling time. How could I not to, with Miu Miu striking again for this season?
