   Although today was a rainy day, i decided to defy the gloomy weather and go for something more joyful in order to sping it up a little! I am sure you are wondering about the strange title, or maybe you are thinking "I knew she's a weirdo", but please, take a look at the photos and you will trust in me again.

Pleated Love.

   The skirt. THE skirt. I have been looking everywhere for a pleated maxi skirt and finally, American Apparel was the answer to my wandering. I don't have many words to say, other than this skirt makes me feel like a ballerina. I am always doing dancing figures when wearing it and it feels wonderful!

Dramatic Discipline at Celebrity Skin Show - AXDW

   First things first. If you didn't attend the Celebrity Skin show last night but you still want to feel the vibe of the catwalk room, then you should definitely listen to the song of the link above. It was the music of the entry video of the show and it totally put you in the mood for some provocative fashion.
   I believe that it was one of the strongest parts of the show, which was in general a fierce fashion experience. The music, the video, the celebrities, and last but not least, the clothes, and of course the helmets created a dynamic atmoshere that no other show has managed to do until now. I really enjoyed it. Hope to see more shows like that in the future.

AXDW Outfit feat. Yiorgos Eleftheriades Skirt.

   I happily present to you my latest acquisition which I am so proud of! I am talking about the Yiorgos Eleftheriades skirt which is one of my best buys, as it was placed at a greek designers' bazaar that was held in Syntagma during February. I have always admired Yiorgos Eleftheriades' collections and this was the time I made one of his pieces mine! I love the pencil high-waisted cut and the deep blue colour and I find it really versatile. You should definitely pay a visit on the next bazaar. Not all the pieces are worth buiyng, but, who knows, maybe you will find this piece that is waiting just for you.

   p.s.  Special thanks to the guy that helped me out at the bazaar when trying the skirt on!

Backless Feminity at Chara Lebessi Show - AXDW

Flowing Darkness at Stelios Koudounaris Show - AXDW

   Stelios Koudounaris' show was obviously about neutrals, but with wird, beautiful cuts. Although his clothes don't really match my style, I could tell that they were well-worked. I loved the maxi backless dresses. They were so ethereal, despite their dark muted colours. The pictures below reflect this flowing feeling.

50's At Miltos Show - AXDW.

   Yesterday was the first day of Athens X-clusive Designers' Week for Fall-Winter 2011-12. I attended three shows and the general impression is very positive, as all the shows had something to say. And that's what I am looking for in a show, either it reflects my style or not. 

   Miltos whas the first designer and I found his clothes very pretty in their 50's style with full skirts, bows, polka dots and so on.

She Wears .lak!

   Yesterday I attended the .lak fashion show for spring/summer 2011. The theme was all about sports. Cotton fabrics, jumpers and hoods, loose dresses in navy and neon colours and beautiful, beautiful high-heels. That's what I loved more of the show, the heels. Especially the wedges.
