Ariel.

...aka the Little Mermaid. Now, you are probably wondering what does Ariel have to do with a not-so-much-of a-sea-setting. Well, the answer would be "nothing", except for the fact that one of my 7 year old students back at our school days well-observed that "with this red hair and these colourful clothes you look like Ariel- the little mermaid"! Wow! It is amazing what a child's imagination can create out of nowhere!

Once again, my hair is braided! Well, you will not see me wearing this hairstyle again any time soon, as I am leaving today for Chios to visit a special friend and, under normal circumstances, I won't be posting for several days. Have a great weekend and see you soon!

...Well, thinking about happy moments like the one described above, is vital during these hard times.

French Girls.

I have always thought that French girls are the epitome of what we call "chic". They are all about feminity, but it is weird how they manage to do that, despite the fact that they can add girly and boyish touches in the same outfit. The french braid on the hair, the french manicure on the nails, the pearls on the ears, the flowy fabrics clothing the body seem to go so well with shorts or a classic masculine jacket!

Speaking of these things, how do you like my new hairstyle? I haven't tried a braid since I was, exmm, about 10 years old, and it felt like a nice change! The shorts are Fullah Sugah- I visited their store yesterday and found many pretty treasures and all in great prices! If you like to see more Fullah Sugah, visit other bloggers here, here and here .

Before I stop my endless rambling on this post, as you can easily tell, I obviously like to roll between different decades or different styles when I am getting dressed. It depends on the mood I have at the time, or even a photo that inspires me when I spend hours and hours browsing on fashion blogs. After all, this is fashion. Experimenting, trying out things and finding inspiration e v e r y w h e r e.

Pin-Up.

I think this journal was made for me. Pin-up girl and Coca-Cola on the cover? Totally addicted to the second, totally allured by the 50's pin-up thing. This is why I instantly fell in love with this corset. The white and red plaid with the broderie detail seem so innocent together.

Discovered these a m a z i n g perfume bottles at Ikea. Already found their place on my boudoir. Still can't believe Ikea makes such beautiful things!

Pineapple.

I had to give in the neon trend myself. The combination with the wooden accessories reminds me of a juicy pineapple.

Birthday Girl in the 50's.

That's how I would imagine a 50's girl on her birthday. With a romantic but flirty playsuit, wedges on her feet, pin-up hair and big, big earrings! Perhaps enjoying a strawberry milkshake at the luna-park. Well, I wasn't at one last night, but that didn't stop me from having a great time with all my favorite people around me for my birthday celebration.

Details in Blue.

I know, I know. Another post with a color-themed title. What can I say? Summer blue in all its hues is one of my favorites.
