Like Old Times.

...This is how I felt yesterday with what I was wearing. Like I was a heroine of older times,  victorian times I think, when highwaisted skirts, ruffled shirts, flower prints, peacock details and beautiful handmade vintage jewellery were part of the daily outfits of women of high-class society. The only thing missing from my outfit was a hat; a fascinator with feathers!

P.S. I am wearing my new vintage-like necklace, one of my prettiest ones, bought at the meet market of 6 D.O.G.S. last Sunday!

   My outfit here seems a bit split. I wanted to go for boyish at first, but I couldn't omit a very-very girlie touch....the flower headband! I like the combination of masculine and feminine pieces all over one outfit. Do you?

Back To School.

...Strange to say this now, as the new school year has already begun for me, a week now. But, I was in the mood for some student-like clothing, with navy blue, polka dots, preppy collars, bows and pearls. It kind of reminded me of Alexa Chung's style, hmm?

Downtown.

   So, yesterday was Athens' Fashion Night Out, as you all know! I was excited about the whole event, but I have to say that it could have been better...The majority of the shops closed at 9 sharp, like nothing special was happening there, making the phrase "Night Out" just an overstatement. The crowd was not well informed and was spread out to different spots, feeling a little bit "lost". Anyway, I decided to keep the positive side on my mind that included hanging out with my best girls, talking about clothes, fashion, hair, commenting on others' people's style, watching the crowd, laughing etc... Also, I should propably mention that yesterday was the first time I got sooo close to a Chanel 2.55 bag a woman was carrying; so close that it almost touched my skin! Oh, little moments of happiness...!This is what I chose to wear. The h& m dress is made from organic cotton and it has the most appealing allure, with the all-flower pattern- I am in love with it!

Παίζουμε.......μέρος 2ο

Η καλή μου risata με προσκάλεσε να παίξω ένα παιχνίδι με θέμα την αγάπη. Οι οδηγίες είναι οι εξής: 

Α) Αναγράφουμε το όνομα αυτού που μας προσκάλεσε.

Β) Γράφουμε τα 10 πράγματα που αγαπάμε και τα οποία με την πρώτη ματιά μοιάζουν ασήμαντα.

Γ) Και τέλος, προσκαλούμε 10 blogoφιλους να γράψουν κι εκείνοι αυτά που αγαπούν.

10 πράγματα που αγαπώ:

1. Το να φτιάχνω χαρτονάκια, κατασκευές, κανόνες, στολίδια για την τάξη μου. 

2. Το να βλέπω ερωτευμένα ζευγάρια στο δρόμο, ειδικά ηλικιωμένους ανθρώπους, και γενικότερα να διαπιστώνω την αγάπη καθημερινά.

3. Το να μπορώ να διατηρώ κάποιες "παραδόσεις" σημαντικές για μένα, όπως το να τρώω όσο συχνότερα μπορώ με την οικογένειά μου τα μεσημέρια.

4. Το ότι πολλές στιγμές του παρελθόντος έχουν όλες τη δική τους ξεχωριστή μυρωδιά, η οποία με κάνει κάθε φορά να τις θυμάμαι και να τις αναπολώ.

5. Το Λονδίνο.  

6. Μικρά χαρτάκια που μαζεύω στο πορτοφόλι μου: αγαπησιάρικα ραβασάκια, αφιερώσεις από τους μαθητές μου, σκιτσάκια.

7. Το να ενθουσιάζομαι με μικρά πράγματα που σε άλλους φαίνονται ασήμαντα, όπως το να βγαίνουν τα αγαπημένα μου περιοδικά στο περίπτερο ή το να τρώω καρπούζι μετά από απογευματινό μπάνιο στη θάλασσα στο μπαλκόνι του σπιτιού μου στο χωριό.

8. Το γαλακτομπούρεκο από το "Κοσμικόν", ειδικά όταν είναι ζεστό-ζεστό-λαχταριστό.

9. Το να περιμένω πώς και πώς τη γιορτή μου και τα γενέθλιά μου και να τα φαντάζομαι 1 μήνα πριν.

10. Το να θέλω να ονειρεύομαι για τα πάντα και συνέχεια, χωρίς να νιώθω ένοχη γι' αυτό.

When Something Does Not Suit You, Just Adjust It.

...Like I did with this top from h &m.I bought it the other day and I liked the fact that it has this tulle although its simplicity. But I felt like something was missing...So I added this flower at the back! I think it added this little something! :)

Feathers And Autumn Colours.

   There is no doubt. Flowers are my favorite! I instantly fell in love with the flower print of this top because it reminded me of autumn! It was like it had the smell of the wet ground after the pouring rain, the colours of the tree leaves that begin to fall, the breeze of an autumnal afternoon when you watch by the window the rain...I love it when something around me brings to mind beautiful places, moments and memories!
