A Really Long Wool Scarf.

'Wrapped in Merino'

  After being contacted by Woolmark to take part in this great attempt for the World's Longest Social Scarf, I couldn't say no to this very original idea.
   'Wrapped in Merino' features a virtual Merino wool scarf. As of tomorrow, 29th of May, each one of you can participate by designing your very own scarf, by choosing the texture (for example, a pasmina or a heavy knitted scarf), the pattern and the color and then connect with other people's virtual scarves. This way the company is aiming to set a new World Record of the longest scarf! I find the idea really refreshing!  As a bonus, Woolmark is giving away Net-A-Porter vouchers every week.

Computer-generated Floral.

   I don't know how many times a person is allowed to claim that a shopping buy is love at first sight. I think I have said that too many times already and I have exhausted my excuses. Was it for the colors? Was it for he digital print reminding me of Mary Katrantzou's dazzling pieces? I really don't mind. Every time that my eyes spot a beautiful piece of garment I can never neglect that strong beating in my heart. So feel free to judge me for getting this a-m-a-z-i-n-g dress after no hesitation.

Celebrating 5 years of H&M Greece & Outfit.

   The invitation stated rather explicitly that there would be some kind of photography celebrating 5 successful years of H&M in Greece. Who would have known that the photoshoot included all the stylish people being there?! The procedure was simple: all we had to do was to choose between beautiful pieces of clothing and accessory and style ourselves with them! I chose this jacket to complement the Marni for H&M necklace I managed to get a while ago, which I hadn't found the perfect time to wear until this afternoon in Booze Cooperativa.

H&M Autumn '12 Press Party.

   A reeeally picture-heavy post

   My yesterday's afternoon. Spent at Booze Cooperativa, downtown Athens. Saw many happy people there, Mariza Petrakou and Anna Kotsareli and fellow blogger from shoppingtherapy.blogspot.com. Photographed some high-street fashion and tasted some yummie treats. The girls did it again, organizing the event to the smallest detail, from a special photoshoot for the celebration of 5 years of the company in Greece to printing our photos and handing them to us. I can't thank you enough for inviting me every time!

   And now on the collection. I have to say that H&M really raised the bar this time. Εvery piece was  well-made and could be regarded as a high fashion garment. Really statement pieces. I especially loved the fact that all garments had some sort of textured feeling. Brocade, quilted fabrics, gold thread, stone embellishment were some of the hits. Take a first look: 

   p.s. one.  Fell in love with the printed dress, the quilted shorts, the tiny-tiny macarons and some pretty cool stuff for my man.

Ode to Prada.

   After falling in desperate love with anything Prada this season, from the car print crop tops and the boxy jackets to the high waisted pencil skirts and the embellished detail work -if you are wondering how many times a person can stand watching editorials full of Prada looks, well it turns out many!- I couldn't resist acquiring these earrings from H&M. I am looking forward to styling them with something fresh and pretty!
