Blinding sun.

  Habits and changes.

This place has become sort of established here in Red Rose Cheeks. Two years ago, summer 2012, we photographed for the first time here, then summer 2013 followed and now, here we are, summer of 2014. This makes me think that this blog is already 4 years old. This year, though, hasn't been as productive as I'd want it to be, blog-wise. One thing I know for sure is that I always try to post quality articles, regarding the outfit, the photography, the place that we do our photoshoots, the text. Quality over quantity -always. I am still in the process of thinking about what it is I want for this blog, and I believe that what I need is a change. To make some changes here. Well, time will show.
For now, it's the 2nd of August, the month of vacation and I am packing my suitcase 'cause I am leaving today, yay! So, I believe I can pospone these thoughts a liiiiittle longer and be back refreshed, with new material!

   ☁☁☁

I hope you are having a great summer, full of laughter, ice creams, late nights, salt on your hair and of course, love. Ahh, love.

A Sicilian Summer.

  Getting inspired.

Since my recent trip to Italy, I was dreaming of going back this summer. Maybe visiting Sicily, Portofino, or the Amalfi coast...Ah, dreams! Everyone has a right to do them, right? My dream outfit for walking around those places would definitely be from Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer collection. Every year I find myself being amazed by the couple's collection- first it was the flowers and the plaids, then the lace, then the fruits and vegetables... I don't care if they are 'predictable', as many think...I love them! This year I fell in love with the striped fabric paired with crazy, crazy prints (here and here). So, this was my inspiration for this last summer outfit post.
Tell me, do you happen to get obsessed with some pattern or theme every fall or spring?

Shorts ans Socks.

  A bit Chloé.

Once I saw these leather-like shorts and the frilly white top, a certain Chloé look popped in my head and I just knew they would make a nice match together. Romantic and edgy at the same time? Done.
Cute ankle socks paired with heels tend to be one of my favorite habits lately. I want to enjoy this trend as much as possible, before I take the socks off and enjoy the summer in bare feet! Summer is almost here, yeiii!

p.s. Currently rejoicing my vacation in Italy, so please excuse the absence of frequent posting. A post full of Italy is promised to come up soon!

Jenny from the Block.

If you have ever seen this video, you will know why this outfit instantly reminded me of the glorious times of JLo. All you need is a scarf on your hair, a pair of hoop earrings and some attitude, of course!

The outfit.
I stumbled upon this unique jumpsuit at ACCESSORIZE. It was half off so I gave in with no second thoughts. It is one of the comfiest clothes I have ever worn! To add a 70's touch, I paired it with my trusty d&g platforms, always there to complement beautifully an outfit. As for the scarf, this is a second attempt to wear one in a way different other than the usual around the neck and I am pleased to say that there will be more to follow. You can see the first attempt here.

Like a Ballerina.

...with an airy pleated dress, a knitted oversized cardi, warm grey leggings, velvet ballerinas and ballet-pink nails. Oh, and my yesterday's outfit spoiler, as Muki successfully commented.

Quilted.

Always loved this effect on leather bags. I blame Chanel 2 .55 for this. Here is a small taste for the outfit going to be posted tomorrow. What do you think? Doesn't "she" (the bag of course!) have the prettiest subtle colour?
