   I am aware of the lack of originallity for the title, but I really couldn't find one that suited the way I am feeling about this collaboration better! When Irini, the girl behind 'Sweetcase' proposed that we did something of a project with some of her favorite pieces from her a/w collection, 'Chocolat', I jumped with joy! I have always admired her unique work. In fact, I loved the photoshoots for the 'Travelling Sweetcase' project so much that I secretly wanted to be one of those girls travelling with the Sweetcase. Well, my wish kinda came true now :) And, to be honest, I am glad that we did a more wintery project because the new collection is amazing- warm colors inspired by the famous (and... mouth watering) movie and that vintage air that Irini is known for. 

  Although it was raining and it was cold, it was a fun photoshoot. A big 'thank you' to the one and only person always photographing me with patience (even in the rain!) and  Irini, who gave me the motivation to do so!

Flower Child.

   Today's outfit is a tribute to a whole culture believing in peace and love.   I don't know why, but this whole outfit had a feeling of freedom and carefreeness. Even though I am more of a 50's type of girl, 70's bohemian details are perfect for summer.

Something Old, something New, something Borrowed, something Blue.

   Vintage. 

   Little treasures. Valuable heritage from my beautiful grandmother. A very stylish woman, chic, with an inner sense of class. She used to travel all around the world along with my grandfather, in their most elegant outfits. I have spent so many aftenoons looking at old photographs from their trips, but a snapshot of both of them riding a camel is definitely my favorite. 

   So, all these pretty things come from way back then and I feel blessed I have discovered them. But to follow the "something new" factor of the famous saying, I added my sparkling ballet flats to the photos. Hope you like the result!

Dark Fairytale.

   Dreamy ensemble.

   A dark ballerina. A modern Cinderella. However you name it, the moment I wore these clothes I felt magically wonderful. I took the plunge and bought a tulle skirt, which I always dreamed of. The "wow" effect when you wear something like this is huge... Especially when you have sparkling shoes on your feet! You feel you can conquer the world! And this is a valuable feeling nowadays, although more and more hard to find. We should cherish these moments when we feel that nothing can stop us from chasing our dreams, even when they seem too far to catch. 

   If only I could wear something like this on a daily basis! It would make my day much more interesting, inspiring and special. And a day that I feel I can do anything.

βουκαμβίλια.

 ...the greek term sounded better in my head than the foreign "bugambilia". Going through these photos, I realised how much this plant can lighten up every outfit. I was actually looking for an ideal place for this photoshoot when I discovered this little fuschia paradise just around the corner. You know I fall for beauty everywhere. 

Remember this scarf?

   On the previous post I promised you another display of the scarf that  embellished my head at the time, and here it is. I think it made the perfect top for my satin shorts! Worn together, they exude an air of luxury. The clutch is my beloved grandma's and you have seen it here before. The unique golden bangle, bought from a local peddler (fell instantly in love with it!), and the simple leather sandals, give the outfit this island breeze it had to have. Well, these, and the slightly sunkissed skin.
